Outbid.lol terms: prohibited content, removal, refunds, and liability

Which controls: the Terms or the Rules, and who is eligible?

The outbid.lol Terms of Service state an effective and last-updated date of August 19, 2026. They govern the leaderboard, product pages, checkout, and related features. The text expressly says the Terms control if they conflict with the public Rules. Read the Rules for current rank mechanics and the Terms for contractual risk.

A user must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Someone acting for a company represents that they can bind it. A person prohibited from receiving services under German, EU, US, or other applicable law, including trade sanctions, may not use the service. The policy does not describe which documents, if any, verify those representations before payment.

What exactly does a payment buy?

The Terms describe outbid.lol as a paid public ranking and every listing as paid advertising—not an editorial review, certification, endorsement, or independent quality ranking. Payment purchases the position the verified bid can support when fulfillment occurs. It does not promise traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, exclusive placement, fixed time at a rank, or search-engine ranking.

Dodo Payments processes checkout; prices are in USD and applicable taxes can be added. Rank is assigned only after payment confirmation and a board write. Dodo’s Buyer Terms describe a separate click-wrap agreement for the payment and Dodo’s Merchant-of-Record relationship with the buyer. The outbid Terms, Rules, Privacy Policy, and confirmed checkout details together form the service agreement.

Who may list a website or X account?

A person may list only a product website or X profile they own or are authorized to represent. Bidding on a competitor’s destination without permission, impersonating a person or brand, and submitting inaccurate information breach the published terms. A website promoted by an X account must satisfy the same eligibility standard.

A website must display current operator or company details identifying the legally responsible project operator. Where applicable law requires it, that can include legal name, postal address, working contact method, imprint, business-register data, or tax information. Missing, false, impersonating, or reasonably unverifiable details can lead to takedown without notice or refund.

Which content and behavior does outbid.lol prohibit?

Taken together, the Rules and Terms prohibit pornographic, NSFW, and adult-platform content; Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and similar chat or invite links; link shorteners that disguise the destination; and unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, violent, or child-exploitative material. Counterfeits, unauthorized streaming, and copyright or trademark infringement are also ineligible.

A regulated financial, medical, gambling, or weapons-related offer cannot be listed without a required licence. Malware, phishing, scams, and destinations primarily designed to deceive are prohibited. On the technical side, the Terms restrict click manipulation, rate-limit bypass, scraping beyond ordinary browsing, automated bidding without written permission, and reverse engineering except where mandatory law permits it.

Can the operator edit or remove a listing?

Yes. The Terms reserve the ability to refuse, delay, edit, recategorize, hide, or permanently remove a listing, bid, or related page with or without notice. Stated reasons include suspected Terms, Rules, or legal violations; rights-holder or platform complaints; invalid company details; and legal, security, or reputational risk.

The submitter grants a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, cache, reproduce, resize or reformat, and publicly display the listing and fetched public metadata as needed to operate, promote, and archive the service. A takedown request can be sent to contact@supastarter.dev; the text says takedown does not undo a completed payment. “As long as needed” for an archive gives no numeric end date and should be read alongside the Privacy Policy’s retention framework.

How can someone report an unlawful or infringing listing?

A copyright, trademark, publicity, other-rights, or unlawful-site report can be sent to contact@supastarter.dev. The official text asks for the reporter’s name and contact details, the outbid.lol listing or product-page URL, the destination URL or @handle, a description of the problem, and a statement that the notice is accurate and the sender is the rights holder or authorized to act.

The operator may remove or restrict the listing during review and may share the notice with the lister. Repeat or abusive notices may be ignored. This workflow should not be presented as a court ruling or as every jurisdiction’s formal legal-notice procedure; the applicable process varies with country, right, and facts.

How are refunds, withdrawal, liability, and governing law written?

The outbid Terms generally make completed payments final. Being outbid, leaving the Today board after 24 hours, receiving fewer clicks than expected, disliking a category, downtime, or removal for breach does not by itself create a refund. The text says a buyer requests immediate performance and acknowledges loss of a withdrawal or cooling-off right to the extent law permits, while preserving mandatory rights that cannot be waived. Dodo’s documentation supports full and partial refund processing as a technical function; that capability is not an automatic entitlement or replacement for the operator’s policy.

The service is provided “as is.” The Terms exclude certain indirect losses, limit slight-negligence recovery to foreseeable harm from essential duties, and cap payment-related liability at the amount paid for the relevant listing during the preceding three months. They carve out liability that mandatory law does not allow the operator to limit, including intent, gross negligence, life, body, health, and mandatory product-liability cases. German law is selected, subject to non-waivable local consumer protection. European Commission guidance says standard terms must be plain and that terms creating a significant good-faith imbalance against consumers are not binding.
